Eight of the world's most experienced drivers navigate treacherous roads across four continents, competing for the title of World's Toughest Trucker and a £100,000 prize. Each journey lasts three days, and they must haul an unusual load of cargo - with one of the competitors eliminated from the show every week.

In the country's popular Tata 1616 vehicles, the truckers race to their destination, aware that three of them will be eliminated from the competition - but mechanical problems jeopardise some of their chances of reaching the final

    The truckers arrive in the East Asian country of Mongolia, where they are challenged to transport goods along treacherous and poorly demarcated roads, and must rely on communication and teamwork to avoid taking a wrong turn. Driving the hardy Russian Zil 131 vehicles, they haul loads of tents and furniture for 80 miles, but receive penalties for every item they break along the way
