Walter Rosenblum: In Search of Pitt Street

Walter Rosenblum: In Search of Pitt Street

1999, Other
This is a documentary portrait of photographer Walter Rosenblum, made by his daughter Nina, a film director. A resident of New York City in the early part of the 20th century, Rosenblum was a member of the Photo League group who later earned renown as a World War II photographer and filmmaker, and was one of the men who documented the liberation of the Dachau concentration camp. Rosenblum's relationship with his student and wife, Naomi, is also explored in this very personal work.
