Stone Reader

2002, Other
In 1997, television commercial director Mark Moskowitz finally got around to reading a novel he had owned for 25 years, "The Stones of Summer" by Dow Mossman. Enthused about the coming-of-age novel, he was surprised to learn that its author had apparently written nothing else after its publication. In the course of tracking down the elusive author through conversations with critics and professors, Moskowitz examines the relationship between art and life, as it pertains to writers and readers.
