Somebody Is Waiting

1996, Crime
Five years after his parents' divorce, 18-year-old Leon Ellis (Johnny Whitworth) is told by his mother (Nastassja Kinski) to leave after a shameful drunk-driving arrest. She arranges to meet him at a bank to open up his first account, but she's killed when she arrives during a heist. Leon's long-absent alcoholic father (Gabriel Byrne) returns to take care of him and his five siblings, only to accidentally die during a drunken rage. Afraid he'll be arrested for murder, Leon goes on the run.
