Sour Grapes

1987, Comedy
Denver's Marshall Industries produces America's top-selling beer. Blake Teegarden (Richard Gilliland), a chemist for the company, discovers an ingredient capable of making the beer dangerously addictive. Marshall seizes upon this discovery and soon enjoys a monopoly over beer sales. Americans guzzle beer nonstop -- citizens are perpetually drunk, and the drinking age is lowered to six. Then a rival company sets out to steal the formula, causing a fierce, drunken battle to erupt.
