Angel's Alley

Angel's Alley

1948, Comedy
Although the Bowery Boys are clean, upstanding citizens, not all of their friends are. Jimmie (Frankie Darro), cousin of Slip Mahoney (Leo Gorcey), is an ex-con trying to go straight who gets drawn into a car-theft racket that's run out of a local pool hall owned by mobster Tony Lucarno (Nestor Paiva). When Slip gets arrested for one of Jimmie's robberies, Sach (Huntz Hall) and the rest of the Bowery Boys cook up a scheme to put Lucarno away while clearing their friend's name.
