Absolute Strangers

Absolute Strangers

1991, True Life
When his pregnant wife, Nancy (Jennifer Hetrick), falls into a prolonged coma, Marty Klein (Henry Winkler) wants to terminate her pregnancy rather than risk a birth that will likely kill her. When a group of publicity-seeking anti-abortion protesters and grandstanding politicians intervenes, Marty and his wife's father (Karl Malden) and mother (Audra Lindley) must go before a hard-nosed judge (Patty Duke) to keep the outside agitators out of the family's decision-making.
